About The Song
"Not The End,” featuring Edward Rivera, is a hope-filled track to sing on the days you feel like giving up. Its joyful melody reminds and encourages listeners that if it isn’t good, it’s not the end of the story, and brighter days are ahead!
If it isn’t good, it’s not the end of the story.
About The Artist
Edward Rivera
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Edward Rivera now calls Sacramento, Northern California, home. He first began performing in high school at age 16 and started leading worship at 17 when he felt called to reach the marginalized, the prodigals, and the unreached. After graduating high school, Rivera attended LABI, a Bible college in Los Angeles, where he joined a traveling worship choir. This eventually led to a six-year career on the road, singing background vocals for well-known worship artists and ministries on tour before stepping into his role as a lead artist.
Following an extensive season of touring with worship artists, Rivera joined the Bethel Music collective in 2021. He appeared on Bethel Music’s album Moments: Wait (Live) in 2024, leading "Nothing Else (Spontaneous) [Live]." Most recently, he is featured on the collective’s newest album, We Must Respond (Live) (2025), leading "Jesus Have It All (Spontaneous) - Live." Rivera’s prayer is to inspire and influence others through his music—especially those within the entertainment industry—and to lead them back to what truly matters: Jesus.
Publishing & Lyrics

Verse 1
Not asking for applause, but look at me I’m standing
Odds were stacked but I took them down
If you saw me before, bet you’d throw your hands in
Ain’t a king but I got a crown
Pre-Chorus 1
I know the feeling when you’re looking for a savior
Screaming to the night for anyone to save you
If this is hitting home, know that you’re not alone
Chorus
This one’s for them hard times
Long nights when you’re holding on
This one’s for them good cries
Tired eyes when you’re about done
This one’s for the broken, if you’re feeling hopeless
You’re not on your own
So if you’re ever feeling low, just know
If it ain’t good, it’s not the end
Verse 2
This could be all that you’ve waited for
It's not over, there's so much more
A fighter, high-key a survivor, author of your future
You’re the pen and you’re the writer
Pre-Chorus 2
So if this struck a chord in you, uh-huh
Raise another chorus up, uh-huh
Bridge
I know, I know it’s not the end
I know the best will soon begin
I know, I know it’s not the end
It’s gonna get better
